Okay can you guys help me decide? I'll mostly be using this for gaming:

Cpu: Phenom II X4 955 Black editition (3.2ghz, quad core, 8mb cache)
    Motherboard:M4A79T Deluxe GA-MA790X-UD4P
    Video card:Vapor-x radeon HD4890 turbo
    Memory: Corsair XMS3 DHX 4GB DDR3 or kingston KHX12800D3K2/4G
    HDD: Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM
    Psu: Corsair TX 750w
    Case: Antec 902
    Monitor: AOC 240V
    Keyboard: G15 (V1)
Mouse: Razer copperhead(I use a fingertip grip by the way)
    Headset: Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1

    or

    Cpu: Core I7 920 (2.6ghz, quad core, 12mb cache)
    Motherboard: GA-EX58-UD3R
Video card: XFX GTX275 or XFX GTX285
    Memory: Kingston 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1333mhz
    HDD: Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM
    Psu: Tagan TG800-U33 ITZ
    Case: Generic case
    Monitor: AOC 240V
    Keyboard: Generic Keyboard
    Mouse: Generic mouse
    Headset: Generic headset
The second will probably be 300-400 more expensive so I had to compensate by getting crappy peripherals do you think it's worth it?

So what do you think of my choices? If you've got any alternative to recommend or help me choose between the parts listed that would be cool =D.

Haha, well if you want a bigger fan check out the Antec gaming cases.
    You can find them here.

Yeah I know they're just one gazillion times more expensive and I prefer the Alpha's look. *gets bashed by a bunch of hardware enthusiasts* But yeah there's only one 120x20mm fan on the market but they're pretty cheap and not that loud. Anyway I've pretty much decided on everything I wanted but I'll keep you updated since I'm just getting it this christmas Razz and hardware changes fast.

    Yeah.
Well make sure you buy all your hardware from www.msy.com.au
I got my hardware from their Ultimo branch and they will put it all together for you if you pay $70.
It's way cheaper than anywhere else.

www.staticice.com.au my friend :p I'm putting it together myself because it looks fun even though I may fry 1000 dollars worth of hardware.

(getting the diamondback by the way since I actually use a fingertip grip http://www2.razerzone.com/MouseGuide/html/rightmouse.php)

I'm telling you Karl, if you want really cheap prices - check out MSY's brochure.

Yeah the MSY site is a bit dodgy.
Look at this price list - http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/msy.htm

    I've updated my list:
-replaced Phenom II 940 with 955 because prices have been going down and the 955 runs socket AM3.
-Added an alternative system with a core I7 although I'm not very keen because then I would have to cancel my projects on getting a good case and peripherals and I would much rather have a good case, headset, mouse and keyboard rather than a small performance boost.
-And I'm now trying to decide between the NZXT alpha and tempest (very similar to the Antec 900) the tempest has unparalleled airflow (I wouldn't be surprised to learn it could levitate XD) but it's double the alpha's price and I would rather the alpha's look so what do you think?

Ah and Jeremy I've heard a few horror stories about MSY's customer service in most of their shops but I haven't seen anything on their ultimo branch how were they with you?

I think the Alpha is fine but I don't recommend Corsair RAM. You can buy Kingston RAM for cheap which is much better.
